Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Expansion, CEO Office, to lead end-to-end market entry across EMEA and the Middle East. Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting, regulatory/financial services law, or expansion roles in fintech/payments.
• Proven track record of owning complex, multi-stakeholder programs end to end, including planning and executive updates.
• Strong operating discipline with governance cadences and cross-functional dependency management.

Responsibilities

• Own new country expansion strategy across EMEA and the Middle East, sizing opportunities and defining winning approaches.
• Design licensing paths, entity structures, and commercial models translating regulatory needs into operating models.
• Shape the product roadmap with Product and Engineering to align scope with regulatory/licensing requirements.
• Build the market-launch operating system using AI-assisted research, templates, and dashboards to standardize launches.
• Run governance for go/no-go and launch readiness with cross-functional sign-offs and risk mitigation.
• Flex onto priority CEO Office initiatives such as strategic reviews or cross-market structuring.
