Job summary

CAS, headquartered in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Global Events Manager to lead worldwide event strategy and execution. The role partners with Sales, Marketing, and regional teams to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and pipeline growth through tradeshows, conferences, sponsorships, and proprietary events.

The ideal candidate will manage budgets, optimize ROI, and coordinate global travel and on-site staffing, while maintaining brand standards and exploring innovative event

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of global event planning experience.
• Experience leading large-scale events with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Strong planning, program management, and process development skills.
• Excellent communication across diverse teams and cultures.
• Proven ability to analyze data and drive results.
• Vendor management, contract negotiation, and budgeting experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (4–6 trips/year).

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead execution of CAS annual global event strategy for external in-person activations.
• Manage the global tradeshow and events calendar, prioritizing events based on ROI and audience fit.
• Plan end-to-end for trade shows, conferences, sponsorships, and proprietary events across regions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, regional teams, and SMEs to optimize event experience and impact.
• Manage event budgets, contracts, expenses, and vendor negotiations.
• Coordinate travel, logistics, and on-site staffing for global events.
• Oversee booth design, signage, giveaways, and collateral with creative teams.
• Manage lead capture processes and timely handoff to Sales.
• Support planning for CAS internal/external events and thought leadership summits.
• Represent CAS on cross-organization event teams and co-branded events.
• Track event performance and provide ROI recommendations.
• Oversee procurement of branded materials and CAS Marketplace.
• Develop scalable processes and enablement tools for consistent execution.
• Stay current on industry trends and identify innovative opportunities.
