Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) in Columbus, OH is seeking a Global Events Manager to lead our worldwide events program, including tradeshows, conferences, sponsorships, and internal/external gatherings. You will own end-to-end event planning, budgeting, vendor negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, regional teams, and SMEs to maximize ROI and brand impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of global tradeshow and event planning experience.
• Strong planning, program management, and process development capabilities.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (4–6 trips per year).
• Experience with marketing technology and digital lead capture preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead global event strategy for external in-person activations.
• Manage the annual global tradeshow/events calendar with ROI focus.
• Plan end-to-end for trade shows, conferences, sponsorships worldwide.
• Coordinate travel, logistics, and on-site staffing for events.
• Oversee booth design, signage, and collateral with creative teams.
• Manage lead capture and timely handoff to Sales.
• Track event performance and provide ROI recommendations.
