Job summary

Nokia is seeking an experienced Event Planning Manager to orchestrate a portfolio of global events, trade shows, and corporate programs. You will translate strategic objectives into impactful experiences for customers, partners, employees, and executives, coordinating across functions and regions to deliver high-value outcomes.

As a senior contributor, you will lead from planning through execution, maintaining global standards while enabling regional flexibility, and driving measurable business

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in global event management within a complex B2B org.
• Experience leading executive-level customer engagements and high-visibility events.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders in a global matrix.
• Experience with budgets, vendor contracts, and event logistics.
• Strong communication, organization and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of global events aligned to business priorities.
• Translate objectives into clear event plans and delivery approaches.
• Develop and manage pre-event, onsite, and post-event plans.
• Drive global standards while allowing regional flexibility.
• Recommend strategies and investment levels based on objectives.
• Serve as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and drive alignment.
• Lead event briefings, communications, and alignment processes.
• Drive a One Nokia approach across events and messaging.
• Deliver high-quality experiences aligned to messaging and goals.
• Partner with Brand and Creative teams to ensure consistent execution.
• Drive attendee engagement across all event phases.
• Support executive engagement formats including hospitality and meetings.
• Own end-to-end event delivery and coordinate across workstreams.
• Lead onsite execution and act as escalation point.
• Ensure operational readiness across lifecycle including risk and compliance.
• Own budgets, forecasting, cost control, and post-event reporting.
• Manage vendor sourcing, selection, and contracts.
• Build and manage a network of agencies and partners.
• Analyze event performance and optimize future impact.
• Advise stakeholders on investment decisions and participation strategies.
