Job summary

BDO USA in Charlotte, NC is seeking a GES Senior Manager to lead tax planning and compliance for equity compensation, 409A, 162(m), 280G, ASC 718 and ASC 740 across client engagements.

You will supervise tax GES Managers and below, ensure accuracy of calculations and memos, and coordinate with general tax and audit teams to provide compensation and benefits support for returns. Strong communication and deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in compensation & benefits.
• CPA certification or JD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Executes client deliverables related to compensation & benefits, including calculations and memos.
• Applies firm policies and tax quality requirements to complex compensation analyses.
• Researches compensation planning and benchmarking for executive models.
• Identifies when additional research is necessary and uses appropriate sources.
• Communicates with clients verbally and in written tax opinions.
• Exhibits client/executive presence and strong communication skills.
