Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Design Engineer to provide engineering services for dealer equipment and process systems. You will design, upgrade, and install equipment, and support the Equipment Assembly Plant to boost reliability and reduce costs.

You will use AutoCAD and Creo for documentation, release ECOs, and collaborate across engineering teams. Willingness to travel domestically for site support is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; advanced degree with experience also acceptable.
• We are unable to offer sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of new equipment for franchised dealers.
• Release Engineering Change Orders to address obsolescence and improve uptime.
• Document machine designs using CAD tools and manage product lifecycle.
• Ensure standardization of mechanical designs and drawings across equipment lifecycles.
• Travel domestically to franchised dealer locations for on-site support and installations.
• Collaborate with electrical, process, and project engineering teams and with Marketing, IT, Purchasing, and Logistics as needed.
