Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. seeks an Equipment Design Engineer to design, analyze and install equipment and systems for global dealer operations. You will use AutoCAD and Creo, support plant issues, and drive improvements to uptime and reliability.

The role requires collaboration with engineering, marketing, IT, and purchasing, travel across the U.S., and willingness to work extended hours to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years of related experience, or advanced degree without experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design and improve equipment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new equipment for franchised dealers and maintain existing designs.
• Release engineering change orders to address obsolescence and improvements.
• Document designs with CAD tools, manage revisions and PLM.
• Plan small projects, secure resources, and ensure cost, schedule and functionality goals.
• Collaborate with Marketing, IT, Purchasing, Legal and Production Control.
