Japanese IT company isseeking a Principal Network Architect to act as a senior technical authority shaping enterprise network architecture, technology strategy, and major transformation initiatives across a large environment.

The role blends enterprise architecture, advanced engineering, and technology strategy, defining standards, evaluating technologies, and guiding complex decisions with executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of network architecture and design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, or related field preferred or equivalent experience
• Hands-on architecture and implementation experience with Cisco IOS, Cisco ACI, enterprise wireless, Cisco Catalyst Center/DNAC, and Cisco SDA.
• Deep and broad expertise across enterprise networking domains including LAN, WAN, data center, wireless, network security, and cloud connectivity
• Exceptional architectural judgment and ability to translate requirements into scalable architectures
• Proven ability to lead complex RFPs and technology evaluations and present recommendations
• Demonstrated ability to lead high-level technical discussions and influence decisions
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve enterprise network architecture principles, reference architectures, and technical standards.
• Assess current-state architectures and modernization roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
• Provide architectural direction for complex, multi-domain network initiatives; ensure scalability, security, and operability.
• Evaluate emerging networking technologies and their enterprise applicability.
• Lead architecture reviews and technical design discussions; drive decisions based on engineering principles.
