Job summary

Ameriprise Financial in Minneapolis, MN, seeks an Operational Owner to lead the enterprise email platform and 24x5 support. You will oversee Exchange Online, on-premises Exchange, email gateways, and Outlook services for the enterprise user base, ensuring SLA performance and incident handling.

Lead a distributed team, manage migrations and governance, and partner with Information Security to maintain robust email security controls and disaster recovery readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5-7+ years of broad technical experience in messaging/collaboration environments.
• 4+ years of experience leading technical teams or vendor resources.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online/Server, and email security practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Messaging operations team across U.S. and India.
• Manage Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange health; oversee gateways and Outlook services.
• Administer incident, problem, change, and request processes with SLA focus.
• Lead 24x7 on-call rotation coverage across onshore/offshore staff.
• Collaborate with Information Security on email security controls.
• Drive platform projects and migrations with cross-team coordination.
• Ensure DR/runbooks, monitoring, and audit readiness; governance across messaging estate.
