Job summary

Newly Weds Foods seeks a Global Engineering Project Manager to lead large-scale capital projects across international sites. You will collaborate with executive leadership, mentor engineers, and drive multimillion-dollar initiatives to advance innovation and efficiency in our global operations.

The role is on-site in Chicago with up to 60% travel domestically and internationally. 12+ years in food manufacturing project engineering and PMP/PRINCE2 experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical).
• Travel up to 60% (domestic and international).
• 12+ years in progressive project engineering and capital project management in food manufacturing.
• Proficiency in CAD, project management software, and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across time zones and cultures.
• Financial proficiency in cost forecasting, negotiating, scope definition, and budgets.
• Understanding OT environments: ICS, SCADA, MES, Industrial IoT, Industry 4.0.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication.
• Experience in food manufacturing, preferably baking/dressings/condiments.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, management and execution of international capital budgets across multiple facilities.
• Manage full life cycle capital projects from concept to handover; develop scope, budgets, and schedules.
• Oversee design/development to meet objectives on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with vendors; manage procurement, deliveries, and invoices.
• Support capability development across regional teams and standardization efforts.
• Drive engineering best practices across the global manufacturing network.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, EPA, BRCGS, CE and other regs.
