Job summary

Newly Weds Foods is seeking a Global Engineering Project Manager to lead complex manufacturing and automation initiatives across international locations. This on-site role in Chicago partners with executive leadership, mentors engineers, and oversees multimillion-dollar projects that drive innovation, efficiency, and growth across our global operations.

This position requires up to 60% travel domestically and internationally, and demands strong cross-functional collaboration with Finance, IT,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical).
Willingness to travel up to 60% domestically and internationally.
12+ years in progressive project engineering and capital project management in food manufacturing.
Proficiency in CAD, project management software, and MS 365.
Ability to manage multiple time-zone projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end international capital projects from concept to handover.
Develop scope, budgets, estimates, and schedules for NWF management approval.
Coordinate with vendors for proposals, deliveries, and payments.
Support capability development across regional teams and sustainability initiatives.
Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, EPA, BRCGS, CE Machinery Regulations where applicable.
Collaborate across Finance, Operations, R&D, IT, Quality, Safety, Legal.
