Job summary

Lamb Weston, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee capital projects and engineering initiatives from concept through startup at our Kennewick, WA location. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop scopes, schedules and budgets, and drive CIRs and cost justifications.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of project management or plant engineering experience, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Travel up to 50% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years practical experience as a Project Manager, Sr. Engineer, or Plant Engineering Manager with Cap/Ex experience.
• Experience leading diverse teams in a matrix environment.
• Excellent communication, technical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of plant engineering, maintenance and operations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop scope, schedule, budget estimates and cost justifications as projects progress.
• Write, present, and submit Capital Investment Requests and supporting documentation.
• Lead cross-functional development and implementation of capital plans with related Plant and Corporate functions.
• Manage engineering efforts in plants and for corporate initiatives.
• Lead projects >$400MM USD and ensure quality, cost, and schedule targets.
