Job summary

Gentherm in Novi, MI seeks an Engineering Manager, Process and Tools to own the global engineering process framework across Systems, Software, Cybersecurity and Hardware. You will set the roadmap, manage the tools portfolio, and lead a team including Tech Leads while aligning with Program Management, Marketing, Sales and Engineering across regions.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Engineering, 7+ years in automotive or regulated environments, strong cross-functional influence, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years automotive or regulated engineering experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional and matrixed teams.
• Knowledge of engineering lifecycle tools (Jama, Polarion, Jira, Teamcenter).
• Familiarity with ISO/SAE 21434 cybersecurity standards.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the global engineering process across disciplines.
• Set roadmap for process maturity and tools.
• Manage engineering tools portfolio and lifecycle.
• Lead direct reports and Tech Leads; align with stakeholders.
• Engage Program Management, Marketing, Sales early in lifecycles.
• Enforce defined process across engineering and regions.
