Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Global Engineering Process Lead, Sr. Manager, to optimize engineering processes across global Product Line teams. You will champion DFSS, FMEA, and requirements traceability, drive AI-enabled tooling, and collaborate with engineering and quality leaders to improve design cycles and product reliability.

This onsite role supports Westerville, OH or Novi, MI operations. The candidate will lead standardization, governance, and continuous improvement, focusing on end-to-end

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's preferred).
• Certifications in DFSS, Lean, Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies highly desirable.
• 10-15 years of engineering experience with focus on process improvement and product development.

Responsibilities

• Improve engineering efficiency by identifying best practices and streamlining processes.
• Standardize engineering processes across product lines with DFSS, FMEA, and traceability.
• Promote AI-enabled engineering solutions and digital technologies to automate workflows.
• Collaborate with tool owners and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of processes and systems.
• Define and improve key engineering metrics such as design cycle time and first-pass quality.
