Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a PLM Solution Consultant to join the Global Information Systems Group in Fremont, CA. You will help translate business needs into digital solutions across engineering, manufacturing, and product management.

You’ll drive optimization of PLM-related processes, support NPI and CTO/ETO initiatives, and foster adoption of modern engineering practices and analytics to accelerate decisions and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in operations, business process improvement, or digital transformation.
• Understanding of PLM, product portfolio management, manufacturing, or engineering processes.
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as Siemens Teamcenter and NX.
• Knowledge of NPI, product configuration, BOM management, workflows and approvals.
• Familiarity with system implementation methodologies and SDLC concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to navigate ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Improve how connected digital tools, data, and processes enable product development and operational efficiency.
• Transform engineering and product development processes through cross-functional alignment.
• Apply NPI lifecycle knowledge to improve process efficiency and outcomes.
• Contribute to MBSE, digital twins, and digital thread initiatives.
• Streamline ETO and CTO processes by supporting configuration management improvements.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Quoting, IT, and Product Management.
• Drive business transformation projects to boost productivity and adoption of new tools.
• Evaluate technology solutions to improve data quality and user experience.
• Support AI, machine learning, and analytics integration into processes.
