Job summary

Actalent seeks an experienced Global Engineering Manager to lead engineering strategy, manufacturing performance, and technology deployment across a global cable manufacturer. You will drive process improvements, capital projects, and product industrialization while partnering with Manufacturing, Quality, Technology, and Operations teams.

You will manage engineering resources across sites, develop talent, and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation, delivering cost improvements

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead engineering projects and teams.
• Experience directing global capital expenditure programs.
• Strong background in process improvement and Six Sigma.
• Hands-on experience with extrusion, wire, and cable manufacturing.
• Ability to manage engineering resources and priorities effectively.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams for manufacturing capability, quality, capacity, and cost projects.
• Drive process optimization and operational excellence programs.
• Oversee capital projects and equipment upgrades.
• Lead industrialization and deployment of new products and processes.
• Identify and execute cost reduction opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Manage engineering project portfolios and resource priorities.
• Develop and mentor engineering talent and foster technical excellence.
• Support global sites through technology transfer and best-practice deployment.
