Job summary

MSCI Inc. in San Francisco seeks an Engineering Fellow to lead technology strategy and architectural excellence across MSCI's global financial platforms. This executive role blends business insight with hands-on governance to deliver scalable, secure systems for clients worldwide.

You will mentor senior engineers, drive AI-native transformation, oversee cloud evolution, and partner with Product, Experience Design, and Data Science to align technology with growth objectives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software product development experience with enterprise platforms.
• 3–5+ years in an executive-level leadership role managing globally distributed teams.
• Deep expertise across full-stack SDLC, cloud, data stores, APIs, and security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technology strategy and architectural blueprint for MSCI's product lines.
• Spearhead AI-native transformation and integration into core products and client experiences.
• Oversee cloud migration, scalability, and cost optimization of high-availability solutions.
• Establish design systems, guardrails, and governance frameworks for architectural integrity.
• Mentor Distinguished Engineers and lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, XD, and Data Science.
