Job summary

MSCI Inc. is seeking a Principal AI Scientist/Engineer to advance production ML at scale across a multi-billion-dollar financial platform. You will own end-to-end algorithm design, ML pipelines, and generative AI components that empower clients worldwide.

You will lead architecture, drive model evaluation, and mentor engineers while translating complex math into business value for senior leadership. This role demands 10+ years in DS/ML and a track record of technical leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a dedicated data science or ML role.
• 3+ years as technical lead driving ML initiatives.
• Strong foundation in optimization and ML core methods.
• Proficient in Python/Scala/Java/R and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Algorithm & Model Development.
• Apply NLP, Causal-ML, Deep Learning, RL, and Generative AI to financial problems.
• Design rapid experiments and MVPs with software engineers and PMs.
• Lead end-to-end architecture for DS solutions and enforce code quality.
