Job summary

MSCI is seeking an Engineering Fellow at the executive level to shape the technology strategy and architectural blueprint across our global financial platforms. Reporting to the CTO, this role blends strategic vision with hands-on governance to deliver scalable, secure, and AI-native solutions that power client decisions worldwide.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software product development experience.
• 3-5+ years in an executive-level leadership role.
• Deep expertise across full-stack lifecycle: cloud infra, distributed data stores, APIs, compliance, and AI/ML data frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the long-term technology strategy for MSCI.
• Architectural blueprinting to support product and business lines.
• Lead AI-native transformation and cloud migration with cost optimization.
• Establish design systems, guardrails, and governance for solution designs.
• Mentor senior engineers and partner with Product, XD, and Data Science to align tech with growth targets.
