Job summary

Willis Lease Finance Corporation is seeking a Project Manager, Technical Services to oversee the engine lease return process, manage shop visits, and coordinate engine purchases. You will serve as the primary interface between the customer, the MRO, and Willis Lease, ensuring all requirements are met.

The role requires travel to engine locations globally, strong liaison skills, and thorough knowledge of FAA/EASA standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of airline and/or engine shop experience.
• Experience with major engine models listed in qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of Life Limited Parts and AD status reports.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary coordinator with Willis Lease Contracts, the Customer, the MRO, and Willis Lease Technical Records to facilitate an engine lease return.
• Acts as the primary point of contact with the customer during the lease return process including coordination for on-site visits.
• Utilizes Willis Lease Technical Department Procedures to perform engine lease returns at remote locations.
• Ensures work complies with FAA, EASA and Willis Lease requirements.
• Attends or delegates test cell runs and On-wing tests to ensure engine performance meets lease return requirements.
• Attends or delegates Post Test Borescope inspections to ensure serviceability and resolves discrepancies.
• Performs or delegates detailed inventory of the engine at end of lease and ensures proper certification of installed units.
• Works with MRO, Customer or Contractor to replace missing parts cost-effectively.
• Reviews data generated during lease return to enable timely re-leasing.
• Acts as the primary coordinator for engine shop visits: prepares scope, attains cost estimate, provides data to MRO, manages repair, reviews invoices, and disposes unserviceable material.
• Assists in other technical functions to support the Company portfolio.
• Attends Industry conferences to stay current on engine programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
