Job summary

Meta's Infrastructure organization is seeking a Manager to lead energy analytics strategy for our global data center portfolio. You will guide a geographically distributed team responsible for forecasting models, cost analysis, and rate design that inform capacity planning and procurement across data centers.

The role emphasizes building scalable data products, setting standards, mentoring ICs and leads, and partnering with Infrastructure and Finance to surface insights and manage energy price

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience in energy, utilities, or related sectors.
• 4+ years of direct people management experience.
• Hands-on experience analyzing energy usage data, tariffs, and wholesale market data.
• Experience owning forecasting or analytical models used in budgeting or capacity decisions.
• Experience building or scaling an analytical capability.
• Advanced Excel and experience with large data sets.
• Strong communication and data visualization skills.
• Experience developing narratives for stakeholders and leadership.
• Experience training and mentoring analytics professionals.
• Experience establishing cross-functional relationships.
• Experience prioritizing across stakeholder demands and communicating trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of energy analysts across data centers.
• Own forecasting models for energy usage, generation, and cost.
• Develop rate structures analysis for current and future sites.
• Set analytical standards, document models, and ensure QA.
• Consolidate energy data across sources into durable data products.
• Build data pipelines and standardized tooling to scale the portfolio.
• Partner with Infrastructure and Finance leadership to surface material insights.
• Travel as needed (up to 30%).
