Job summary

Starkey Hearing in Eden Prairie, MN seeks an Employment & Labor Counsel to lead global labor and employment initiatives, including litigation, compliance, training, compensation and benefits, and HR support.

The role partners with HR leadership, guides governance strategies, and works with internal teams worldwide to maintain a compliant, high-performing workplace. Travel domestically and internationally; bonus eligibility. Target pay range listed.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney with a minimum of four years handling labor & employment issues.
• Labor and employment counseling experience required.
• Prior law firm experience required; in-house experience a strong plus.
• Experience with international employee populations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Counsels on Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA, OFCCP and other federal employment laws.
• Counsels on compliance-related matters, including investigations, training and audits.
• Supports the Human Resources Leadership team.
• Manages and mentors department support staff.
• Counsels on employment agreements and restrictive covenants.
