Job summary

Starkey is seeking an Employment & Labor Counsel at our Eden Prairie, MN headquarters to lead global labor and employment initiatives. You will handle litigation, compliance, training, compensation and benefits, and provide key HR support while shaping governance strategies.

Travel domestically and internationally is required as part of the role. Founded in 1967, Starkey is a global leader in advanced hearing solutions with over 5,000 employees and 29+ facilities.

Qualifications

Licensed attorney with at least four years of labor & employment experience.
Experience at law firm and/or in-house is required.
Experience with international employee populations is an advantage.
Employment litigation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Counsels on Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA, OFCCP and related laws.
Advises on compliance, investigations, training and audits with HR.
Provides support to HR leadership and global governance.
Manages and mentors department staff and handles disputes.
Negotiates employment agreements and severance programs.
Develops policies and training on labor and employment topics.
Interacts with local counsel and global partners on governance.
