Coinbase is seeking an Employment Counsel to join the Employment Legal team. You will provide day-to-day employment law counseling and compliance support for a global workforce across 20+ countries, with a focus on performance management, disciplinary matters, and HR policy compliance.

The role includes drafting and negotiating employment-related agreements and supporting AI tool deployments within the regulatory framework.

Qualifications

• J.D. with active U.S. state bar membership.
• Experience advising HR on full range of employment matters.
• Experience with international employment issues is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI in employment law regulatory landscape.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day employment law counseling across a 20+ country footprint.
• Advise on performance management, discipline, terminations, accommodations, leaves.
• Review and draft employment agreements, separation agreements, and relocation letters.
• Oversee HR compliance, EEO-1, OFCCP, and pay equity efforts.
• Manage employment litigation, discovery, and coordination with outside counsel.
• Assist with AI tool deployments and related compliance disclosures.
• Monitor developments in employment law and translate into guidance for HR.
