Google is seeking a Global Supply Chain Manager to interface with internal Engineering and Product teams to develop and deliver electro-mechanical commodities like batteries. As the main contact for agreement negotiations, you will build consensus with stakeholders across Product Management, Hardware Engineering, Industrial Design, Quality Engineering, and Operations.

To be successful, you will leverage industry knowledge and supplier relationships to optimize total cost of our products

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in global supply chain management in consumer electronics, including experience with manufacturing and supply chain processes.
• Experience working with Engineering and Product teams.
• Experience sourcing battery or other electromechanical commodities.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute global supply chain strategies.
• Create RFQ templates and prepare RFQ documentation for general supply management to review.
• Drive cross-functional team alignment on project SPOR plan.
• Manage suppliers to ensure readiness, assurance of supply, and overall quality for product builds and sustaining operations.
• Initiate purchase orders, track spend, understand component lead times, and evaluate associated supply chain risks.
