Caterpillar is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Electrical Systems to lead a global team across sites in Clayton, NC; Sanford, NC; and Desford, UK. You will drive architecture, schematics, wiring harnesses, and smart product development with cross-functional peers worldwide.

You will guide execution, develop engineering talent, and ensure quality, cost, and schedule commitments, focusing on advancing technology and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global engineering organization for BCP Electrical Systems.
• Oversee NPI programs, CPI projects, maintenance, and obsolescence management.
• Own Cat Technology relationships for BCP Electrical Systems and Components.
• Translate technology plans into executable architectures and designs.
• Collaborate with Product Directors and Engineering teams on scope, budget and execution.
• Develop engineering talent to support long-term customer needs in Advanced Technology.
• Maintain agency and SOW relationships to adapt to workload changes.
• Manage on-site supplier relationships for harness co-development in US/UK.
• Direct staff activities to meet policies and objectives and improve quality and cost.
