Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the regional electrical engineering team, supporting proposals and projects across the Americas with 20% travel to customer sites.

Based at our Houston, TX office or Allentown, PA HQ, you will drive technical standards and collaborate across offices to deliver high‑impact solutions. The role emphasizes team leadership, budget oversight, and development of staff while ensuring delivery within time and quality

Qualifications

Electrical power systems experience in process industries.
Proven supervisory experience with budget responsibility.
Experience developing staff and managing teams.
Experience coordinating across offices/locations.
Knowledge of large motors (1–10 MW) and HV equipment.
Familiarity with power system analysis software (SKM Powertools, ETAP).
Self-motivated with ability to drive results and accountability.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Global Electrical Engineering Manager and leading the regional electrical engineering team across proposals and projects in the Americas.
Leading team recruitment and allocating resources to support projects.
Staff development including goals, development plans, and mentoring.
Providing supervision and technical input to meet time/quality constraints.
Contributing to development of electrical design standards.
Liaising with suppliers and partners to support projects.
Defining execution models for electrical scope and improving processes.
