Job summary

FMC Corporation, based in Philadelphia, is seeking a Senior Counsel – EHS & Litigation to lead global EHS litigation strategies and advise on regulatory compliance across sites. The role is hybrid, with two days per week remote work, reporting to Global Litigation. Strong in-house experience and a J.D. are required.

The attorney will develop SOPs, interact with regulatory agencies, and drive remediation initiatives while supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania in good standing.
• 7+ years of experience as a subject matter expert in EHS law; 2+ years in-house preferred.
• Strong leadership, cross-cultural collaboration, and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global EHS litigation strategies.
• Advise manufacturing sites on compliance with EHS laws and prepare regulatory filings.
• Lead remediation matters at active and legacy sites and oversee related litigation.
• Draft regulatory filings and communications with EHS regulatory agencies.
• Deliver EHS training and participate in audits and corrective actions.
