Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a visionary Head of Global Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) to lead the company’s global EHS program and governance. Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) including 8 years of EHS leadership.
• Experience leading global or multi‑regional EHS programs within a multinational organization.
• Strong knowledge of international health, safety and environmental legislation (OSHA) and recognized management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Experience developing enterprise EHS strategies, governance frameworks, policies and management systems.
• Postgraduate qualification and professional certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead global EHS strategy and governance, aligning with business objectives and risk framework.
• Develop and maintain global EHS policies, standards, procedures and management systems.
• Coordinate with regional and local EHS teams to ensure consistent implementation.
• Oversee enterprise EHS risk management, audits, and regulatory readiness.
• Develop enterprise EHS KPIs, dashboards and performance reporting for executives.
• Champion a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the enterprise.
