Job summary

Arizona State University’s Global Education Office (ASU GEO) is hiring a Faculty Directed Program Coordinator to support a robust custom program portfolio and assist in growing online/global learning offerings. The role works with a team of eight and collaborates across offices to advance ASU’s global education initiatives.

You will guide international students and scholars, oversee program budgets and contracts, and promote programs while ensuring compliance with immigration regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience or equivalent
• Experience working with college/university faculty or VIP clients
• Budget development and management experience
• Experience with Salesforce (CRM) or similar
• Experience with Terra Dotta
• Experience studying/working/living abroad
• Experience communicating across cultures
• Master's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and finalize customized program proposals including budgets, logistics, housing, transportation, safety requirements, excursions and curriculum.
• Develop and maintain a program budget and associated course fees; prepare disbursements, proposals and approvals.
• Solicit bids from providers and negotiate contracts; prepare contracts for each program.
• Serve as primary contact between vendors and faculty; review bid responses and advise on cost/content improvements.
• Create and promote web brochures detailing program information, cost and application process; review applications for eligibility.
• Prepare MOUs and scopes of work; evaluate new providers for compliance with ASU standards.
• Promote programs via information sessions and marketing materials; support events throughout the year.
• Deliver pre-departure orientations for students both in person and virtually.
• Advise students on funding options and applications; follow up to ensure completion.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
