Job summary

3M is seeking a Planning Manager for Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) to define the global DRP strategy and strengthen capabilities across processes, people, tools, and KPIs. The role includes daily execution, network design, stocking strategy, and coordination with logistics at the Maplewood, MN site.

Lead DRP process strategy, evaluate inventory and freight costs, and oversee finished goods inventory while coordinating with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business (completed and verified prior to start)
• Six years of combined experience in supply chain, planning or inventory management
• Experience with Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP)
• Experience working with SAP and Kinaxis
• ASCM certification such as CPIM or CSCP
• Strong financial acumen and data analysis skills

Responsibilities

• Lead global DRP process strategy and continuous improvement across processes, people, tools, and KPIs
• Determine optimal network design by evaluating inventory, freight, and handling costs
• Coordinate with logistics on distribution center capacity, expected freight needs, and inbound and outbound distribution center volumes
• Oversee finished goods inventory management processes and track performance against inventory targets
