Job summary

3M is seeking a Planning Manager – Distribution Requirements Planning to define global DRP strategy and drive improvements across processes, people, tools and KPIs. The role centers on DRP execution, network design, stocking strategy, master data maintenance and logistics coordination.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, optimize finished goods availability and inventory performance while partnering with 3M sites worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business (completed and verified prior to start).
• Six (6) years of combined experience in supply chain, planning or inventory management.
• Experience with Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP).
• Experience with SAP and Kinaxis; ASCM certification such as CPIM or CSCP.

Responsibilities

• Lead global DRP process strategy and continuous improvement across processes, people, tools, and KPIs.
• Determine optimal network design by evaluating inventory, freight, and handling costs.
• Coordinate with logistics on distribution center capacity, expected freight needs, and inbound and outbound distribution center volumes.
• Oversee finished goods inventory management processes and track performance against inventory targets.
