Latham & Watkins seeks a Global Document Services Lead - Workflow to drive readiness and on-time delivery of document services across attorneys and paralegals. You will coordinate department workflow, intake work requests, clarify instructions, and manage deadlines.
You will supervise core services and specialized areas such as Proofreading, Translation, and Closing Sets, partner with related teams, and maintain the ServiceNow queue.
The Global Document Services Lead - Workflow is an integral part of Latham's Global Document Services team (GLODOCS). This role will be responsible for the department's readiness and ability to provide high-quality and on-time delivery of document services to attorneys, paralegals, and legal professionals with optimal customer service, while coordinating department workflow, intaking document work requests, clarifying instructions, negotiating deadlines, communicating job statuses, maintaining the ServiceNow job queue, assigning work to team members, assuming project lead role on complex/multishift requests, and assuring that deadlines are met.
Supporting core document services as well as specialized services, such as Proofreading, Translation, and Closing Sets. Coordinating with other teams and partnerships where overlap exists to develop efficient procedures and communications to streamline processes and satisfy various department needs. Scheduling weekend and holiday coverage. Acting as point of escalation to leadership.
We'd love to hear from you if you exhibit advanced knowledge of applications typically used in a legal word processing environment, possess knowledge of specialized tools, demonstrate a thorough understanding of the intricacies of documents and work requests, and have a high school diploma or equivalent, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably, a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a law firm or other professional services firm, preferably, and a minimum of five (5) years of cumulative experience.
