Job summary

Cencora, Inc. seeks a Director of Distribution Network Simulation to close DC throughput gaps and optimize the global DC network. You will lead strategy, governance, and the adoption of discrete-event simulation to inform capital investments and operating improvements.

Responsibilities include building a scalable simulation capability, managing a global portfolio of use cases, and partnering with Operations, Engineering, Finance, and regional leaders to deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, operations management, business administration, engineering, or related field required.
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain planning, operations, logistics, or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in a management capacity required.
• Certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a multi-year strategy and roadmap for building the Distribution Network Simulation capability.
• Own the simulation project portfolio across regions and business units.
• Establish global standards for model governance, validation, and reuse.
• Lead cross-functional stakeholder collaboration to translate simulation results into business value.
