Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a Director of Distribution Network Simulation to resolve DC throughput and capacity gaps and identify scenarios to improve efficiencies across the DC network.

You will lead strategy and governance for simulation capabilities across the global supply chain, using discrete-event simulation, analytics, and scenario modeling to drive measurable operational improvements and value. The role partners with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Data & Analytics, and regional leaders,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in supply chain planning/operations; 5+ years in management.
• CSCP/CPIM certification preferred; PMP preferred.
• Demonstrates leadership, strategic and analytical capability.

Responsibilities

• Develop a 3–5 year roadmap for building and scaling the Simulation capability.
• Define embedding of simulation in capacity planning, design, and business cases.
• Establish global operating model, service offering, and engagement rules.
• Lead scenario analysis across throughput, capacity, labor, and cost to serve.
• Build a governance framework for model development, validation, and reuse.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to translate simulation outputs into value.
