Job summary

InterEx Group is seeking a specialist to troubleshoot and improve our distributed data and compute platform infrastructure. You will work across the globe to ensure high availability, guide application developers on infrastructure, and help translate customer needs into engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities include preventing repetitive requests, enhancing system reliability, and contributing to a product mindset for VCP with a focus on accuracy and uptime.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of distributed computing systems
• Familiar with build and release infrastructure tools
• Scripting in Python or similar language

Responsibilities

• Create awareness in other teams about methods and procedures to prevent repetitive help requests
• Help application developers understand the infrastructure, cluster and system
• Explain how the system fits into the customer’s ecosystem
• Share knowledge with dev/infra engineers
• Contribute to building VCP as a product meeting quality standards
• Increase stability and reliability of VCP through automated testing and automation
• Translate customer ecosystem needs into engineering deliverables
• Resolve bugs and implement regression tests for system resilience
