Job summary

InterEx Group seeks a platform engineer to troubleshoot and translate short-term problems into structural improvements on our distributed data and compute platform infrastructure. The role focuses on increasing availability across regions and aligning with production needs for next-generation microchip production ecosystems.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience with DC/OS, CI/CD tooling, and scripting (Python).

Qualifications

Knowledge of distributed computing systems is required.
Experience with build and release infrastructure (Maven, Nexus, Bamboo, Github) is essential.
Scripting ability in Python is required.

Responsibilities

Create awareness in other teams about methods and procedures to prevent repetitive help requests.
Help application developers understand the infrastructure, cluster, and system.
Explain how the system fits into the customer ecosystem.
Share knowledge with dev/infra engineers.
Contribute towards building VCP as a product meeting quality standards.
Increase stability of VCP via automated testing and automation.
Ensure customer satisfaction and product reliability.
Improve functionality and reliability of VCP.
Translate customer needs to engineering deliverables.
Identify broken pieces at system/cluster level and fix them.
Assemble stories into a cohesive product roadmap.
Enhance system resilience and perform regression fixes.
Advocate for predictable component lifecycle management.
Maintain the technical roadmap.
Support field feature requests and service enhancements.
Suggest improvements and implement them with stakeholders.
