Job summary

The Child Mind Institute in New York, NY seeks a Director, Research Implementation to lead international randomized trials and implementation science across diverse settings. This exempt, full-time role reports to the Vice President of Epidemiology & Evidence-Based Interventions and requires a minimum of four days per week on-site.

Qualifications

• PhD in public health, epidemiology, psychology, behavioral or social sciences.
• Minimum 10 years of senior level, operations, or project management experience in global settings.
• Experience managing complex multi-site research projects with institutional or international partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior oversight of the implementation of complex research initiatives.
• Lead scientific and operational oversight of RCTs, implementation studies, and international programs.
• Monitor, mitigate risks, and elevate critical issues to leadership.
• Directly manage large-scale research projects, including planning, budgeting, and staffing.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with research institutions and government entities.
• Provide subject matter expertise for study start-up, regulatory requirements, site readiness, and data quality.
• Coordinate across vendors, investigators, data teams, and leadership for timely issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with protocols, ethics, data quality standards, and policies.
