Job summary

RTI Health Solutions is seeking an Associate Director, Implementation Scientist to lead implementation science programs across the development lifecycle. You will drive scoping, study design, and execution while guiding teams and clients toward rigorous, actionable evidence-generation strategies.

The role requires a PhD or equivalent experience in related fields, with strong capabilities in qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research, plus strategic client engagement and business

Qualifications

• PhD in implementation science or related field with 2+ years of directly relevant experience, or a relevant master’s with 4+ years.
• Experience applying implementation science theories, models, and outcomes to real-world health questions.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical development process and the role of evidence generation.
• Demonstrated ability to design scientifically rigorous and operationally feasible health research studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex implementation science and health research projects from scoping to final delivery.
• Translate client objectives into scientifically rigorous, feasible research strategies.
• Provide strategic guidance on applying implementation science to pharmaceutical development, evidence generation, and healthcare delivery.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and client communications; mentor junior researchers and contribute to manuscripts and conference materials.
