Job summary

Genmab seeks a Director of Operational Excellence to shape and drive the company's continuous improvement agenda. You will partner with senior leaders to govern and advance the OpEx strategy, embedding a culture of measurement, accountability and learning across a global, matrixed organization.

You will influence without direct authority, oversee transformation portfolios, and champion AI-enabled insights to prioritize initiatives that deliver sustainable business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, Operations Management, or related. MBA/MSc preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification required.
• Additional certifications like Prosci, PMP, Agile, BPM, Process Mining are advantageous.
• Experience implementing enterprise-wide Operational Excellence frameworks.
• Ability to influence senior executives without direct authority.
• Experience in global, matrixed organizations; regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evolve the Operational Excellence framework with standards, governance and best practices.
• Lead within R&D/TechOps improvement portfolio aligned to business objectives.
• Coach leaders and staff on Lean Six Sigma, change management, and problem solving.
• Influence cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable improvements.
• Measure impact with KPIs and governance forums; ensure ongoing monitoring.
• Build organizational capability through learning and communities of practice.
