Job summary

Deckers Brands is seeking a Director, Quality Operations to lead quality programs across brands, markets, and product categories. You will guide quality issue management, continuous improvement, and analytics, collaborating with Product Creation, Manufacturing, Distribution, and Marketplace teams to deliver top-quality products.

You will mentor a global team, manage budgets and schedules, and drive data-driven decisions to optimize product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field required.
• Master's in Business or Organization Management preferred.
• 10+ years in the footwear/apparel industry for a global company.
• 8+ years in a quality-related leadership role within the footwear industry.
• Proficient in quality audit processes, global compliance, material properties, product construction, and risk management.
• Skilled in operational decision-making, continuous improvement, and driving for results.
• Experienced in public speaking and presenting to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of quality professionals, setting objectives and driving results.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and strategic goals, aligning operations with strategy.
• Drive global quality data management, inbound reporting, issue tracking, and marketplace feedback.
• Leverage quality data and BI tools to identify trends and influence improvements globally.
• Manage and resolve quality issues across global operations with governance and speed.
• Define and integrate systems and tools across the global quality organization.
• Champion education and training initiatives across teams and functions.
