Job summary

Amgen seeks a Director of Digital Manufacturing Innovation to drive digital, data, and AI capabilities across the manufacturing network. You will lead a global team, align with site leaders, and translate operational needs into practical, scalable digital products and workflows.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, portfolio management, and delivering measurable improvements in safety, quality, and productivity within a global biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in engineering/related field required.
• Advanced degrees (MA/MSc/PhD) preferred for leadership in digital manufacturing.
• Experience leading digital/AI transformations in biopharma or manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Set and lead the global DMI portfolio and roadmap across digital, data, analytics, AI, and automation.
• Partner with product owners to translate manufacturing needs into practical digital solutions.
• Lead a global team and collaborate with sites, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Technology to deliver measurable impact.
