Job summary

CRISPR Therapeutics, Inc. in Boston is seeking an Executive Director of External Manufacturing & Supply Chain to lead external manufacturing partnerships and clinical supply operations for allogeneic cell therapies and lipid nanoparticle programs.

The candidate will drive strategic partnerships with CMOs/CDMOs, oversee material management, shipping, labeling, and distribution, and.manage a multi-disciplinary team to deliver program objectives with a strong focus on cGMP compliance and risk

Qualifications

15–20+ years in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, technical operations, supply chain, or process development.
Experience with third parties and CDMOs for manufacturing operations and clinical supply chain management.
Ability to influence and communicate with senior management stakeholders.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Proven ability to mentor and develop a strong team.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strategic and operational relationships with CRISPR's CMOs.
Manage CMO manufacturing operations and deliverables to ensure material supply and alignment with objectives.
Oversee clinical supply activities across allogeneic and in vivo therapeutic areas.
Direct drug product shipping, labeling, and distribution to worldwide clinical sites.
Lead cross-functional teams and manage budgets with purchase requisitions and POs.
Provide regulatory filing support (IND, BLA) as needed.
Lead CMO due diligence during new supplier selection and assess risks.
Coordinate governance meetings with CDMOs and vendors for program alignment.
Champion a data-driven, collaborative, fast-paced learning culture.
