Prime Medicine, Inc. in Cambridge, MA is seeking an Executive Director of Supply Chain and External Manufacturing to lead end-to-end supply chain, external manufacturing partners, and strategic spend.

You will drive AI-enabled forecasting, materials visibility, and risk mitigation while partnering with Finance and senior leaders to shape clinical and commercial readiness. You will manage a lean team, own budget for external spend, and guide CDMOs/CROs through IND/BLA programs in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline; advanced degree (MS, MBA, or PhD) preferred.
• 15–20+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, external manufacturing, or biotech/pharma.
• Experience with CDMOs and CROs, MSAs and SOWs.
• Experience with cell therapy and/or LNP or nucleic acid programs; IND/CTA and BLA/MAA submissions.

Responsibilities

• Define manufacturing and supply chain strategy with CTO and TDO leadership.
• Lead AI-enabled operations for forecasting, materials visibility, partner performance, and cost modeling.
• Own materials management across portfolio and ensure on-time availability.
• Build and manage a network of CDMOs, CROs, and suppliers.
• Support IND and BLA submissions with cross-functional teams.
• Own TDO budget development for external spend.
• Lead and inspire the team toward continuous improvement.
