Twilio in the United States is seeking a Sr Director of Developer Relations to lead the global DevRel team and shape strategies to empower developers to win with Twilio. You’ll align with Product and GTM, while reporting into Marketing with high visibility and agency.

You’ll build a hybrid engineer-marketer organization, scale developer engagement, and drive a superior developer experience across online and offline channels including events.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading developer relations or related programs; 10+ years in technical field.
• Proven track record building and scaling global technical teams.
• Deep understanding of software developer personas and workflows.
• Strong data-driven execution with marketing and growth metrics.
• Excellent communication with executives, press, analysts.

Responsabilités

• Serve as figurehead and speaker on the global DevRel circuit.
• Define long-term global narrative for developer marketing with cross-functional alignment.
• Recruit and mentor a global organization of Evangelists and community specialists.
• Guide Twilio's Startups Program and early-stage developer initiatives.
• Oversee technical content programs and partner with PR to amplify storytelling.
• Evolve community strategy with UGC and ambassador programs.
• Spearhead Builder event strategy and build ecosystem partnerships.
• Act as steward of developer experience and inform product roadmap.
