Job summary

Oceana in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Director, Corporate Relations to lead our global corporate fundraising strategy and grow our portfolio of top corporate partnerships. The role requires managing a high-value portfolio, shaping strategy with country offices, and collaborating with executive leadership to maximize revenue, impact, and brand alignment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or training preferred.
10+ years in corporate fundraising, partnerships, or related roles, including team management.
Proven record of multi-year, multi-million dollar partnerships and portfolio management.
Experience at an international organization is strongly preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to travel and work outside normal hours when needed.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-year global corporate relations strategy.
Personally manage a portfolio of high-value corporate partners and prospects.
Oversee proposal strategy, budgets, and tailored proposals for campaigns.
Engage CEO, senior leadership, and boards in corporate cultivation and solicitation.
Lead team development, set goals, coach performance, and manage budgets.
Represent Oceana at conferences and expand partnerships across countries.
