Job summary

Merck & Co. is seeking a senior leader to drive Global Clinical Trial Operations across therapeutic areas. You will translate science into executable plans, oversee end-to-end program delivery, and lead a global team to ensure quality, timelines, and cost targets.

You will partner with Clinical Development, Regulatory, and vendors to align strategy with development priorities, applying AI and analytics to predict and improve trial performance. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in clinical development programs or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership of cross-functional teams in pharma/biotech/clinical ops.
• Proven ability to translate TA objectives into operational strategies.

Responsibilities

• Translate scientific objectives into robust operational strategies for all trials.
• Fully own operational planning, execution and delivery of the program portfolio on time and within budget.
• Lead cross-functional collaborations and risk programs with KPIs and QIs.
• Champion AI-driven insights to mitigate risks and improve performance.
