Merck is seeking a senior leader to oversee Global Clinical Trial Operations and Study Management for HQ-sponsored trials, ensuring strategic alignment, on-time delivery, quality, and budget adherence across therapeutic areas.

In this hybrid US-based role, you will lead cross-functional teams, drive modernization using AI and analytics, manage resources and vendors, and ensure regulatory compliance across GCP/ICH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate scientific and TA objectives into executable operational strategies for clinical programs.
• Lead operational planning, execution, and delivery of the clinical program portfolio on time and within budget.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to develop robust trial delivery strategies and manage risks.
• Oversee all phases of clinical trial management with KPI/KQI governance.
• Drive modernization through AI-enabled processes and predictive analytics.
