Job summary

CytomX Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a VP, Clinical Operations to lead end-to-end clinical operations for oncology studies, translating development strategies into executable plans, timelines, budgets, and quality delivery.

You will manage teams, oversee CROs, and drive readiness for expansion and later-phase trials in collaboration with cross-functional partners. The role reports to the VP Clinical Operations in Emeryville, CA, and requires strong leadership, GCP knowledge, and a track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life-sciences, health-sciences, nursing, pharmacy, or related field.
• 8 years of progressive clinical-operations experience with at least 5 years leading complex, multi-site trials and outsourcing CROs.
• Demonstrated people-management experience including coaching and development planning.
• Working knowledge of GCP and applicable clinical-trial regulations; risk-based approaches to study execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end clinical operations for assigned global studies including planning, start-up, site activation, enrollment, conduct, closeout and readiness for inspections.
• Translate program and protocol strategy into integrated operational plans, budgets, timelines, and resourcing models.
• Oversee CROs and vendors with governance, metrics, and corrective actions.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure regulatory deliverables, data review, and drug-supply continuity.
• Present operational recommendations and risks to senior stakeholders.
