Job summary

AstraZeneca is building a leading cell therapy portfolio and seeks an experienced supply chain leader for the role of Associate Director, Clinical Supply Logistics and Distribution — Cell Therapy. You will design and implement the global clinical supply model, from architecture and packaging to depot strategy and site delivery.

Working with Clinical Operations, CMC, Manufacturing, and Quality, you will ensure reliable, compliant, and scalable supply solutions, overseeing third-party packaging

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in clinical supply chain management or equivalent in regulated settings.
• Experience leading global clinical trial supply planning, startup, and execution.
• Knowledge of biologics/gene therapy and cold-chain logistics and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the end-to-end clinical supply model for off-the-shelf cell therapies.
• Coordinate supply architecture, inventory positioning, depot strategy, and site delivery models.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Clinical Operations, CMC, Manufacturing, and Quality.
• Oversee packaging, labeling, and third-party provider activities with regulatory alignment.
• Ensure uninterrupted IMP delivery across geographies and sites, with risk mitigations.
